Updated the doors and drawers faces to a new Classic Shaker with new crown molding to give the cabinets more depth. We wrapped the island in matching panels and got rid of the old desk area and upgraded to a new custom drawer stack for usable storage. We added color to the existing cabinets in the laundry room to tie both rooms together. The new color is Ben Moore Natural Linen.

This job was a bit of a challenge because of time frame. We started the interior work of the cabinets about 6 weeks ago and then everything came to stop waiting on the other contractors to do floors and things. We just finished the install of it a couple days ago. The cabinets and doors were in great shape so we just did an update of color. Ultra pure white on main cabinets and black on island and vanities. It was a great place to work being in the North Shore on the river walk of downtown Chattanooga.

Got a call on this kitchen that was built new in 2022 so only a couple years ago. I will never bash anyone’s work I will just say that the lady hated her kitchen and would feel mad every time she went in there. She told me she just wanted to feel happy in her kitchen so that’s when she decided to hire us to refinish and reface her cabinets. The old doors were built miter and were coming apart the shiplap pieces were done very poorly. We did the colors in Chantilly Lace on main cabinets and island was color matched to original color. We built new custom hood and valance. The new doors are 38 degree bevel shaker. In the end this client felt really happy to walk into her kitchen again. The day we installed doors back on the cabinets she had full spread of breakfast for us. I love being a part of someone’s dream kitchen.

Bringing a dated kitchen back to fresh and appealing with some new color. On these kitchen cabinets we did an elegant snowbound white to bring them back to life. Modified the hood cabinet by cutting it down 7 inches doors included for a new microwave style cabinet. We added a classic crown molding to give the cabinets a little depth. A few subtle changes can make a big difference.

We removed the old vanity and tower and put in our very first inset vanities. If you are unfamiliar with the term inset, it means where the doors and drawer faces sit inside the frame and run flush with the face. It takes really precision work to pull these off correctly. We did a new makeup vanity and a triple drawer stack double sink vanity both inset.

Here is our most current job we just completed today. We did a full Refinish, Reface with modification and custom Add ons. The old island and stove were completely removed. We put in a 30 inch custom cabinet for a new drop in cook top. New double sided custom island with dual trash pullouts and beautiful end panels. The lazy Susan was took out and reframed for 2 separate doors. We brought the kick plate forward and higher to give a more inset feel to the new profile. Every exposed end panel of the old raised panels we covered with a sleek flat panel. The new doors are a bevel shaker with a traditional slab drawer face. We also built a coffee bar station that will be installed in the wall at a later time.

Professional, High quality, this is a couple words that say who we are. We believe in a certain standard that can only be shown in our work. This kitchen went from feeling gloomy to stunning. The cabinets in the kitchen were refinished in Decorators White and refaced with a classic Shaker Profile. The bathroom was gutted of the original Vanities and we put in new custom built vanities to replace the old. The tub panel was refinished and refaced to match the vanities. The color of the bathroom was done in Leisure Blue.

This is what it is to take an unconventional kitchen to practical. By changing a few items around you can make the most out of your kitchen. The old refrigerator was open on the end and we removed the upper cabinet and added in a new pantry attached to the new refrigerator cabinet and casing for more storage. We took a pair of doors on the other end of the kitchen and turned it into a full drawer stack which allows for more space for pots and pans and bigger items stored away. Concealed rollouts were added in another cabinet for easy accessible storage. Removing the valance above the sink allows more natural lighting into the kitchen. The new doors are a beautiful Eclipse profile with a cove crown molding for Elegance.

This client opted for refinishing and refacing cabinets, complete with new drawer boxes and a stylish Nottingham profile. Took this set of cabinets to a new beautiful color. We removed the left and right sides of the island and added in a drawer stack on the left and trash pullout on the right. The main cabinets were done in Snowbound and the island in Deepest Gunmetal.

I was sent pictures of an island that the client had and an idea of what she wanted in a second picture. I went to estimate to discuss details and told her we could modify the existing island and give her the same look as the picture. Of course the idea picture is a lot bigger but they were limited to the space they had. We modified and customized the island with new panels to build out a pony wall. We also added a new panel on the dishwasher and refinished everything else. The color is Natural Cream. We were very pleased to be given this challenge and make the clients dream island.

What a wonderful opportunity it was to be able to do this job for such wonderful clients. We had an unexpected opening come open in our schedule where we book 3 months in advance. We were able to schedule estimate to doing the job in less than week from first meeting. These clients had did their research on us before I met with them. For us we were able to fill an immediate opening and for them they were able to hire a professional team to do their job. A win win for both parties. The new color changes are SW agreeable Gray on the main cabinets and SW African Gray on the island to accent this beautiful kitchen. We did new custom built rollouts in the pantry also. Here is one of our latest projects. A really big shout out to my boys of Ember Refinishing for helping out on this project and to the beginning of new future projects. They did all the boxes for us on this current project. Definitely some talented young men getting their start into the finishing community. We did a few modifications removing some styles and valance above window turning crown back to wall. We Refaced all the cabinets with a new beveled shaker profile. The color is Ben Moore Pashmina. This kitchen has sat unloved and unused for many years. It was our pleasure to breathe some life back into this kitchen with a modern update. We did some custom add ons to the original cabinets and Refaced it to look all as one. We put in a new custom island to fit new appliances. We took a heat gun and stripped away all of the old veneer and sanded back to good clean wood. Then we started our primer process.
We did all new shaker doors and drawer faces, new drawer boxes and all soft close features. The color is Ben Moore Pikes Peak Grey. We also had to match the hood to the new farmhouse sink.

This kitchen was really dark and needed a spruce of color to update it without a drastic change. These cabinets are laminated with Formica. We were able to bond a special primer to the Formica and then topcoat over it for that factory finish result. I was asked for my opinion of what would be the best color to go with countertops and backsplash so I helped choose SW Alabaster which contrasted nicely. The back wall of kitchen I also suggested painting as an accent wall while looking into the kitchen. A beautiful choice to do so. We were very pleased to work with such wonderful people.
